I Want to Be a Wall (2020)
A pleasant story about a lavender marriage that left little lasting impression.
A perfectly pleasant story about an ace woman and a gay man who enter a marriage of convenience, and find ways to live with and look after each other – trying to cook nice meals, be vulnerable with one another, intertwine their lives even if they don’t experience romantic love.
It didn’t leave much of an impression on me, and I’m hoping I have more thoughts after the book club discussion.
