There is (still) love here (2022)

A short and sweet collection of poems that explore the author’s identity.

A nice collection of poems about being queer, Black history, and Greek Cypriot heritage. As with most poetry collections, I deliberately didn’t read the summary first, because I wanted to find the story through the poems. It came through clearly – their stories of moving, living apart from family during COVID, their heritage and history.

I saved a couple of the poems, and I’d happily read another anthology by this author.
