Slipstitch as we know it closes tomorrow at 5pm.

I want to thank you all for making the shop what it is. It would never have made it this far without you. We needed more customers, sure, but we never wanted for community. 

I have adored meeting you and hearing about your crafts and your lives. Thank you for bringing in your cats for us to meet. For baking cakes. For tagging me in Instagram videos of someone with a window vacuum. For showing me the children in your lives wearing what you knitted them. For the offers of window cleaning when we were graffitied. For your enthusiasm and kindness and support and humour.

If you would like to hear these kind of remarks out loud, please join me between 3 and 5pm on Saturday 26th for a closing party.

Craft is so very important to me and I am glad it has been so important to you.
